Data management

In order to be able to take up and to log mass data, the connection between eibPort and a data storage unit is necessary. The use of a PC is advisible. Data Warehouse is the Client software that co-operates perfectly with eibPort and automates the data management.

eibPort collects the data and DataWarehouse stores it in the PC. eibPort works as server and buffer. The Visualization can be switched off without loss of data. According to freely selectable cycle times the transmission of the data into the PC takes place. Storage happens according to the principle of the increase safety device. I.e. there is only one data record, to which the new data is attached in each case. The laborious administration of many hundred data records is void. With Data Warehouse all data can be stored centrally in a PC and is available at any time. The error tracing facilitates and helps during the optimization of energy costs. For the subsequent treatment and evaluation of the data DataWarehouse contains an interface e.g. to Microsoft Excel.
